During the first half of the 1900s, the Cacopardo family opened the doors of their own house to coming travellers, transforming Villa Caterina into a welcoming inn. The beauty of the place and the warmth of the house fascinated guests from the very moment they arrived, so much so that many guests continue to return year after year. During the sixties, the Villa became a true hotel in its own right, managed as before by the Cacopardo family.
